		<description><![CDATA[back then we just went out into the woods with a shovel - about a foot or two out from the tree we dug down - chopped out a chunk of the root - brought it home and washed it - the root bark has the strongest flavor - shaved pieces off with a pocket knife and boiled it up into tea - 5 minutes? - added a bit of sugar or honey
- i don&#039;t remember worrying too much about harming the tree - it was a different age...]]></description>
